Kent and I were able to have an amazing fall day in Seattle with his first cousin Denny and wife, Jeri. We love these guys and always have enjoyed spending time with them. This time was exceptional too.
First of all, we had a wonderful sunny day. That also is special too! We first went to Boeing’s Museum of Flight. We spent about 4 hours there and both Kent and I enjoyed it but by far Kent enjoyed it more. The guys stayed together and I spent the time with Jeri.
After a light lunch we went to see the Pike Street Farmer’s Market. It was amazing, full of life and people of all kinds..
The colors of the dahlia bouquets was so beautiful and fall-ish!
There were vendors selling every kind of seafood from crabs, to huge King Salmon.
We also stopped by the FIRST STARBUCKS. YES the original store and of course it was doing a very fast business. We had to have a cup of coffee.
Outside the store there was this incredibly talented quartet singing gospel music. They were so good and of course I loved their message too!
From there we drove to the top of a hill with a beautiful view of the part of Seattle called Belleview. What a pretty view from there. We then went to a park for a walk along a waterfront. I can’t remember the name of the water but I think, it was Lake Washington. We even got a view of Mount Rainier even though it was a little hazy.
The fall trees were beautiful there. I love this time of year and especially spending it with good friends.
The evening we went for a pizza with Denny’s sister and brother also Kent’s first cousins. We sure enjoyed our day. Thanks Denny and Jeri for the wonderful, relaxing day!
I do hope you my readers are also enjoying your fall days too!
