Kara had asked her dad to come and help her and Nick with a kitchen remodel. Here was their kitchen when we arrived. Kara had already torn out the flooring, getting ready for the tile floor.
They had to tear out their old kitchen cabinets , removing the appliances and then repair the wall and floor and install a tile floor and new cabinets. It was fun to work along side Kara and Nick when he wasn’t working at his job. It was a lot of hard work but very worthwhile and fun to see their new kitchen.
I told Kara that I would stay in Bellevue but she asked me to come and help with food, cleanup and her garden. So that is what I did. We so appreciated that Kara and Nick paid for our flight to Denver and back just to help them. Thanks guys!
Since they have a blog of their own I only put a few of the pictures here. I know Nick or Kara will come up with a great presentation of their own. Then you can see the step by step. Kara did a great ob of working right alongside of her dad. It was so fun to watch them plan and work together.
Kent did not put in the granite countertop so that came this week. I am sure Kara is glad to get a kitchen that is workable again. It was worth all the hard work. It looks beautiful!
Love to you,
Jan for the Roaming Reimers
