Going to Mexico to a dentist

Yes, we have gone several times to Mexico, actually just crossing the border to the first town to have dental services. We did need to do that this time as well. I was able to make an appointment and even see the prices of services online. We have done dental work in Algondones before. My mouth/night guard had broken and I wanted a new one. There I can get it done in one day and it is a reasonable cost. Worth it for us.

We found a local restaurant and had a delicious authentic Mexican lunch and then my mouth guard was done. So quick and efficient.

There was even time for Kent to get his hair cut for $5 and for me to have a full massage for a reasonable rate as well. We have also gotten our eye glasses prescriptions filled here in the past. And if you needed your prescriptions filled, you could get them done here as well. We didn’t need these services but we did notice that there are also chiropractors here now too. Next time!

Our time crossing back into the US was shorter than at some times. We only waited about an hour. There are some many people crossing into Algodones, Mexico for dental, prescriptions, eyeglasses etc that the wait sometimes can be hours long.
