Visiting dear friends and family

While visiting Josh’s family we took off for a few days to go see some very dear friends. We have known these couples for over 40 years and have kept in touch along the way. For 6 years we all lived close and did a ton of things together like birthdays, couples retreats, card party nights and several parties at our house to thank these very special people. Two of the ladies have lost their husbands so our group is a bit smaller, but just as SPECIAL! Our friends Millie and Don who hosted us, also offered to host a meal for everyone to be together. She put together some of our favorite foods from the area too! As well as some that she had canned and frozen herself! Yum! Millie is a wonderful hostess and outdid herself in the meal! Thanks so much Millie and. Don too!

We also got to see most of Millie’s family. Those that live in the area stopped by and again Millie hosted the food. It was sooo nice to see how her family has grown up while we were gone. Fun times!

We also got to visit 3 of my brothers and three nieces and one nephew while there. These visits are good and very far and few between so I appreciate them even more! My brother Harvey and his friend were an especially nice visit! But seeing my two younger brothers, Ken and Steve was very nice too! A video of these visits!

We had only four days there. As we wanted to return to Josh and family for a few more days to finish the shed and a few other projects for Josh!

It is always so fun to see family and friends and this visit was a very special one. We are so thankful for the time with Josh and his family!

Love and gratitude,

Jan for the Roaming Reimers
