Thanksgiving

I just love this American Holiday! It is so fun and special with good food and usually time with family or friends. Since we had just seen our son and family and daughter is coming later, we were just us two.

We decided to do a Cornish hen instead and found a recipe from Emerill for Cranberry Glazed Turkey and we adopted it. Here is his recipe. https://www.emerils.com/126856/cranberry-glazed-breast-turkey

Kent grilled it and some asparagus. Very delicious! I also made fresh cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes and gravy and of course fresh made apple pie! That was enough food for us.

We heard from our kids and even got some pictures. Ivan lost his first tooth. Josh and Teresa had family guests. Kent also made a headboard for our platform bed that he made earlier this month. Yeah!

We had a relaxing day and took some time to think about all of our blessings. Most importantly our savior, Jesus and our family and friends. We are so glad for all the many people who love us that are in our lives. Praying that you had a very Blessed Thanksgiving too!

Gratefully,

Jan for the Roaming Reimers
